Ok im getting horrid performence in BF2... Whenever i turn quickly it chugs hard , currently using Cat's 5.6 , time to resort to Omega 4.12s , works with CS :S so ya never know lol. :D

Anyone found a driver set that works really well with bf2? im running an x800xt

I was using the Cat 4.12 with horrible performance in multiplayer BF2. I upgraded to Cat 5.6's and the slowdowns and crashes were gone. You might want to try the Cat 5.1's, my buddy with an x800 pro used those to good effect. I have an x800xt pe.

5.1's enable AA for me, and seem solid, no stuttering, no crashes, etc. (On my system at least) give them a go. I was using the 5.6's but AA wouldn't enable with them, so if you don;t get the AA problem, I rec. the 5.6's over the 5.1's.

Using 5.6's with everything on high and 4x AA only problems I'm seeing is some dodgy shadows but even that can depend from game to game.

To fix the AA "problem," simply set your driver settings to "Application Preference" and then enable AA through the game. Unless your talking about something else.
