Best course of action for me?

I want to get a display that can be used as my computer screen, as well as a screen to play the new Xbox 360 on.

Must be
* Compatible with my computer and Xbox 360
* HDTV with Xbox 360
* At least 20 inches
* Widescreen

I read somewhere taht the Xbox 360 will have a VGA cable. If I get the Dell 2005FPW Can I plug it in with that and get HDTV resolutions? Or close to it?

There are plenty of adaptors to convert component to VGA and even some DVI adaptors available.

You should have no problem playing in HDTV on any of the newer 20"+ W screens.

As for the quality, I can only tell you my experience.

I have seen a xbox play well on a Dell 2005FPW using a component to DVI adaptor box.

I was able to scale the resolution properly to fit the LCD's native resolution but that was the adaptor box’s doing. I am not sure about connecting directly to the monitor or using a simpler adaptor.
