Right now, I'm runing a *gasp* CoolerMaster AquaGate for CPU cooling (was doing VGA too until I went SLI) and now as I look to upgrading to a 6400+, I want the best possible air cooler for it. Noise isn't all that of an issue for me, although I would like for it to throttle based on temp.

Yes, I feel and probably sound noobish coming back to air, but the AquaGate has done me very well, but I'm putting off water until my next full build.

I use the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro also with my 6400+. Current cpu temp is 77F with cpu fan speed at 460 RPMs. I love this thing. Course, I do have 7 120mm fans also. Just make sure you have plenty of room for it. It's large.

Whats the height of the ACFP64 off the cpu?

And 25°C? Wow, thats nice for a 90NM!

Does anyone have a Zalman CNPS 9700 on a 90NM cpu that can provide temps? I like the temps that deliciouspork gave, but being on a cooler Brissy don't help myself.

thermalright ultra120

it can even come close to rivaling watercooling with the right airflow.

i have the Zalman 9500 AM2 on my 4800+ @ 3.0GHz and it keeps my cpu nice and cool.
