best benchmarking tool

i'm looking for a some software that will compare the preformance of my athlon XP desktop to my athlon64 laptop.

basically, i wana see how i could expect some games to run on my laptop. i know the hardware specs but i want to see real world comparisons. the free version of sisoft apparently doesn't work on 64bit systems (even w/ 32bit emulation). the more specific hardware it tests the better. i don't wana go w/ future mark cuz it won't tell me what is causing whatever preformance differences there might be.

i have a feeling that the 4200rpm ata100 hard drive in my laptop is going to seriouly hinder my game loading time.
