Best Air Cooler for Conroe!

Someone started a thread like this over at Xtreme, so I want to start one here.

What is the best air cooling unit out there?

At Xtreme we narrowed it down to the Tuniq Tower 120 and the Titan Venessa
-Also maybe the Thermaltake BT
 
65 watts? i think any old block of aluminium would work.

to OC? scythe ninja?
 
My Zalman 9500 LED does the job pretty well at cooling my prescott 650 so it will be kickass at cooling the conroe. As you know, conroe consumes much less and emit less heat so any socket 775 cooler, even the lesser ones, will be good enough for conroe. If you have overclocking in mind, then this is another story. My guess is that the actual best LGA775 coolers are gonna be the best coolers for conroe too.

This page has some numbers for the best coolers, the tt120 definetly wins but the scythe mine/tr si-120 are right behind it and weight a lot less(900grams vs 560grams vs 400grams).
 
Supposedly Thermaltake has a new CPU cooler/HSF coming out when the Conroe does called the Hyper Sphere. There have been articles and pictures on it when it was shown off at E3 this year and supposedly it's supposed to be the "the one" or "best cooler" for Conroe systems.

...But honestly, I guess we will just have to wait and see :)

They're making their own design?!? Whodathunkit, got any pics of it?
 
I would look at the Zalman CNPS9500 LED or the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. They both will cool Conroe very well and aren't some huge ass thing you have to have attached like a Scythe Ninja.

Wow, before the chip is out to speculate on any cooler is amazing. I'll take the retail one it comes with for starters lol.
 
tuniq tower is the best if you can find a place to buy it

last time i looked it was sold out everywhere
 
That waterturbo is awesome. I hope they do bundle it with the new processor as the article seems to suggest might happen. Next on the list, make sure the entire water "chamber" is all copper (corosion?), and increase it to a 92mm size.

That Hyper Sphere scares me, I'd never let it in my case.
