So what's the best 20+" pivoting display that's available, widescreen or not, taking into account input lag, viewing angle, color and so forth?

My FW900 is dying. I was going to get the 244T but the input lag issue has killed that thought... so now my hopes is to get a good 20-21" monitor to hold me over until a really good 23" or 24" comes out (maybe from NEC), and then keep both on my disk. However since I don't have *that* much desk space I'm thinking I'm going to need to turn the 20" vertical to fit alongside the 24". Thus the need for a pivoting monitor...

Any thoughts?

Hey does that Samsung allow you to adjust the aspect ratio on VGA or DVI?

well i haven't tried to use VGA but using DVI I can adjust the aspect ratio to either 4:3 or "wide"

yup does [4:3] or [Wide] for both dvi and vga.

now if only it had a [5:4]

Teh best 20 inch on the market is the NEC LCD2090UXi (Eizo may be better but its a close call).

This will pivot and has a gravitational sensor so the monitor knows when you adjust it.

It uses a top of the line S-IPS panel
