New BenQ 24'' LCD with Full HD support has been released:

http://www.benq.com/press/News.cfm?id=1343&cat=0
http://www.benq.com/products/LCD/?product=812

Estimated price $900.

There is lots of confusing information at benq.com: once it's 800:1 contrast ratio, the other 1000:1, the same with response time: 6 ms (g-g), sometimes 8 ms (g-g). Parameteres are probably not as much important as performance, so I can't wait for some reviews to come out. I hope it will be the best buy.
I don't hear much advertisment now about BFI (Black Frame Insertion) technology. Has this been replaced by SenseEye ?

Regards

the model with bfi has not yet been released and is not due to be for a couple of months according to benq pr.

from a purely aesthetics point of view....

anyone else think that monitor is ugly compared to some competitors? eg. the new dell

I agree it's not the best looking, personally I think the Dell 2407WFP is the best looking 24" on the market.

So, is it MVA or AS-IPS? Specs dont match PVA very well specifically the .258 pitch so im guessing its a MVA but hoping its a IPS :p

Excuse me but umm....what the hell about the BenQ FP301W?? When is that getting released? :(

price is a bit insane, especially considering I think of BenQ products as being more budget oriented. We'll see though I suppose...

What is the price for the 24incher? And more importantly, how much then would the 30incher be?

I think it looks great, and you can bet you A** that Newegg will have it for low $700's, I think it is better looking than the DELL because it's just what I want Pure Black Small Bezel. This looks like it will be a super monitor, and should drive the price down of all 24's. This is at the top of my list because with a sale or rebate it'll be in the high $600's and I don't like the silver outline on the new DELLS. Strait forward 24inch with Samsungs newest panel, very nice.

It isn't a samsung panel as far as I am aware - it is an AU Optronics panel of which they own a third of I believe.
