ive bought g2420hdb(b means without hdmi)... wanted nec 231wmi, but sent back due to color uniformity issue and bought benq. Suprisingly good monitor for the price. Only TN technology issues like viewing angles, backlight uniformity...
Have no calibration tools to say anithing about colours. I can compare that two monitors as i had them for glance. Contrast is perfect, viewing angle stability-horizontally perfect, colors doesnt change drastically even in extreme, but vertically its quite obvious, sittig in straight front i can see it on top and bottom - gets little yellowish. But have to mention thats something i can live with as nec has color uniformity quite in same level, but viewing angle independant - IPS technology. I was considering to buy more expensive IPS, but had problems with sending back my nec(supplier want money for that), so i decided not to try different model or even same as ive read here that IPS has problems with color uniformity and happily bought Benq. Also chceked predecessor on prad g2411, which went very good in color tests, hopefully this havent changed in new model.
