BenQ g2400wd issue

Ok tell me what I'm missing. I have a BenQ G2400wd 24" LCD hooked up to a gtx 285. Worked with out a problem till I changed desks and had the system disconnected for 1-2 days. Now when ever I cold boot with the monitor on the LCD doesnt pick up the signal unless I turn it off/on or I hit the auto setup button. It sometimes does this when its been turn off by power savings for a long while. I've tried both DVI ports on the card, no effect. Looked for odd settings in the Bios and even reset defaults. So I'm open to suggestions at this point. If I turn the LCD off and on right before boot everything comes up fine.

This happens prior to system boot so its got to be the card or the LCD or I'm stupid and did something wrong.

Ideas?
