FP783 LCD Monitor
The BenQ FP783 is a stylish, 17-inch LCD monitor with an astonishing 12ms response time that produces smooth, flicker-free images. With a brightness of 300 nits, 500:1 contrast ratio, 1280 x 1024 resolution and a 16.2 million-color palette, the FP783 offers amazingly clear and sharp picture quality. The FP783 incorporates D-Sub and DVI input connectors, and a USB2.0 high-speed hub. With BenQ's iKey, the BenQ FP783 will automatically calibrate the input signal and adjust the monitor for the best display image. It also offers 140/140 degree viewing angles, VESA wall mount and Kensington lock support. Optional features include a two-2W speaker attachment and web camera.

Does anybody have any more information on this monitor? It sounds very promising! It is going to be displayed at CES International I know so I am anxious to hear about its performance. Thanks to all those who add their 2 cents.

i was reading about it. i have the fp767. it is really impressive "12ms!" :) makes you hmmm. i already bought it in my mind but i still have a good lcd, i am going to wait and watch what the competition is going to do.

I think BenQ is also coming out with a FP767-12 (with 12ms response time). You may want to look in to this since you like yours. I have scrounged up a rumour that it may be available late january, but have not heard about the FP783.

Hmmm. It says it can display 16.7 million colours "with dithering". I wonder if that means it'll do the fast-switch trick to display so many colours.

And the panel has a 0.264 pixel pitch, which I think is smaller than the Samsung panel?

Sincerely,
Mal
