Is the release date still on schedule for mid November? Has anyone tried contacting BenQ? I know i did w/o success.

the aspect ratio issue isn't being fixed anyway with the FP241WZ, it only adds BFI technology with the rest staying the same. I would imagine release has been delayed though, not heard anything concrete about it sadly

from what i heard it will be approx. 2 months after the release of the fp241w.

take a look at this thread: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1066372 there's a good discusion going on there about the fp241w and fp241wz, when they here about release dates they will post on there.

I have noticed the BenQ Fp241WZ appearing on websites here (Netherlands) with expected stock arrival averaging around a couple of weeks. The weird thing is that there is no sign of the standard model (FP241W). Another thing that adds to confusion is that the 'BFI' (black frame insertion) technology is only hinted at on the specifications and never specifically stated. Also there is no mention of either model on the BenQ webiste here =(.

It's all very anoying and confusing =(, does anyone know anything about either model in Europe?

Well all i know as of today BenQ Fp241W is stock here in Finland. Last i checked there was 14 units left.
