So I know a bunch of us got in on the Benq FP222W for $259 deal at PC Connection... how are you guys enjoying this baby?

Has anyone else noticed the shadows under text and lines when using this monitor? I think it has something to do with the built in Image Sharpening routine but I have found no way sofar to completely disable the feature. All you can do it move the 'Sharpness" slider all the way to "5" which oddly enough seems to be the LOWEST amount of sharpness applied.

Yes, I'm using a DVI connection. No, it's not analogue VGA which means signal interference with the video cable shouldn't really be an issue.

I've been searching for a way to enter the service menu on this model, hoping for a hidden adjustment that will make this problem go away.

Here are a couple of pictures to better illustrate the problem (any excuse to use the Super Macro mode on my Canon S3 IS is cool!):

In these photos the 'shadow' is exactly one row of pixels under the actual text.
