well my system is togather minus my video card, so i figured i would turn it on to make sure all my fans are running, and my lights work. so i flip the psu switch give it a second or two, the red led goes on. i press the power button on my sonata and green led goes on, hsf starts to spin, regular fan starts to spin, the little fan that says abit starts to spin i here my hd start up. then it starts to beep. its like a second long beep with a few seconds inbetween.

what the fvck is this thing doing?

You need a video card to run the computer....

it will beep at you if you dont have one

according to a link someone just posted on sharky, it is a memory problem.

If there is no video card, it will beep at you. Same thing goes if you pulled the memory and had a video card in.

I doubt it's the memory, get a video card before you do anything with it.

the beep code for missing video adapter is

beeeeeeeep--beep--beep.

if you're getting this one

beeeeeeeeeeep..........beeeeeeeeeeeeep

that's a memory problem. Try reseating the memory and/or testing it in another box.
