I've always understood that sleave bearings were crap, but I just ran accross a couple of diferent products that offered an option between dual Ball-bearing and something called hydro wave that i'd never seen before, could some on clue me in on the difference?
 
My Maxtor HD uses a hydro-wave bearing. It's super quiet. :D

I'm not sure how hydro-wave bearings are constructed. There's also the "vapo" bearings that SilenX uses, but I have a feeling that they're pretty similar (if not the same).
