They, I have about 200 pictures I took at 3 megapixels. I would like to resize copies of them all so they are a reasonable size for viewing online. Is there a program that can resize a bunch of pictures with parameters I set? I have photoshop 7, does that have a feature?

Thanks,
Robert

I have used irfanview with the batch conversion option to do this before
It worked fine for me.

Paintshop Pro 8.1 can batch edit files.

I do it all the time for my son's cub scout pack website.

Save the resize details on one image as a Macro, then apply the macro to a (as far as I can tell) unlimited number of pictures. Biggest batch I have done so far is 30 pics.

irfanview is about the quickest easiest way to do it. the macro in photoshop is a little convaluted and not easy. in irfanview you have a menu just for it, lets you batch resize, rename anything. just set it to do like 50% or whatever resolution you want actualy. can change most properties as well. and its a very lightweight program. im very big on freeware/gpl/opensource type of programs

Another vote for IrfanView. This little program is really quite amazing. It has a very small footprint and complements Photoshop nicely when you need to do "quick and dirty" stuff like re-sizing. Free programs don't get much better than this. :)

I've done 200. I don't think it matters. It's much faster than MSPaint. :D

Another vote here for InfranView.
