I have a soyo kt400 dragon ultra black edition, and i just bought an athlon 2500 barton, ive got it at default right now which is 166x11. Im trying to get it higher, but the multiplier is locked, and my board doesnt support 400mhz front side bus, so what should i do? please help i also have geil pc3200 512 ram that runs at 200

er, I think you can run a divider to get the ram to run at 200MHz and the board to run at 190 or whatever works for you.

I had a board with "built-in dividers" which means that the divider set differently when I set a different fsb; I believe 199 fsb would be the next step up for you to get you in spec with your pci/agp settings if that's the case. I'd try bumping the vcore at the same time one small notch up so you know it's not a problem; if it runs windows and benches ok there, you can try lowering it if you think you have to.

KT400 boards are so stable but such a headache to o/clock!

Is that a nforce board? Because if its not you don't want to up the FSB.
