Bad SATA Cables?

I just checked a SMART monitor on my drives and I'm concerned with the results. I think I've got some bad SATA cables...

Here's a screenshot of HDD Health, looking at my brand new SATA Seagate hard disk (Red=Bad, Blue=Good):

Why do I think its the SATA cables causing this?
Because I saw the same thing on my one IDE drive and when I replaced the ribbon cable...well see for yourself what happened:

The SATA cables I'm using have a 90 degree plug on one end and a streight plug on the other, and they seem to fit snugly and make good cantact...but they came with the motherboard, so I can't be sure of their quality...

well I am sure your mobo came with more than 1 cable, try another

The motherboard only came with two SATA cables (they are the only SATA cables I have, period), and I'm using both of them on the two SATA drives shown above.

I might have a place I can yank one from though...
