Bad PSU??

My computer has been locking up when I try to install Gentoo linux. Whenever i try to build xfree or kde it freezes during it. Could it be because i have a bad PSU? These are the voltage readings from the bios:

VCC Voltage (+2.5V): 2.65 V
I/O Voltage (+3.3V): 3.28 V
+5 V: 5.08 V
+12 V: 11.91 V
-12 V: -11.95 V
-5 V: -5.20 V
3.3V Dual Voltage: 3.61 V
Standyby Voltage (+5V): 4.96 V

Could this be the problem? I'm in the bios just sitting there not having the computer do anything and they're that far off... its a 300 watt power supply. This is my setup:

Abit NF7
Athlon XP Mobile 2400+
512mb Kingston
WD16000JB
Lite-on CD-rw/dvd-rom

Thanks... i have an extra 350 watt psu I got from reuse that I could try. ... hmm
 
Those voltages are quite tight, so i'd say problem not. That said, BIOS is not very acurate. Sounds like a CPU or RAM stability problem to me. What brand is your PSU and what kind of RAM are you using?
 
Its pc3200 kingston ram... but right now its only running at 266 mhz. I have it set to optimal cas timings. Right now they are set to these timings (i just realized its not set to what its supposed to be).
Row-active delay 6
RAS-to-CAS delay 2
Row-precharge delay 2
CAS Latency Time 2.0

When I do the timings by SPD its this:

Row-active delay 8
RAS-to-CAS delay 3
Row-precharge delay 3
CAS Latency Time 3.0

Is it alright to have the first timings if its operationg at only 266 mhz... thats a lot lower than what its designed for..
 
Do you know if it is BH-5 or not? If not, you might want to try running it at CAS 2.5 3 3 7 or so, and see if the issue clears up, or if you have the option bump the voltage.
