I cant for the life of me figure this out.

I plan to build a system around a BX2 and an Antec p180 case, which requires londer cables since the bx2 has the 24pin connector on the top right and the psu is below the motherboard. I am looking for a good cheap psu that would work. The bx2 has an 8pin cpu connector and i cant find a cheap psu with long cable that would suit ithe motherboard+case combination.

I dont plan to oc, not initially at least, and im using an ide DVD drive, 2 SATA hdds, and intel p4 3.6ghz w/ht, and a 6600gt PCI-E.

Any suggestions?

PS: Is using a 4pin to 8pin CPU connector dangerous?

PPS: Is the corsair hs520($99 @ buy.com) any good? is there a better value for money option?
 
heh, go with the HX520. You won't be disappointed. If you need, I can measure the 8 pin on mine and pm you...shoot me a pm if need be
