Backup Syncing Software (external hd's)

I have two 250GB external (USB 2.0) hard drives that are identically spec'd. I have the same information stored on them (mostly pictures, since I am a photographer). I leave one at home and take one one with me when I travel. Each night when I get home I copy all the files from one onto the other.

I'd like a piece of software that can automatically "sync" the hard drives each night. It needs to detect changes in either one and implement those changes on the other. Sure, I can do it manually, but in my experience the most effective backups are the easiest to use.

Any ideas?

take a look at syncback (software) or consider using robocopy that comes with windows.
