Just for my own peice of mind. Is it ok/safe to connect my computer's sound card directly into the line inputs of my speaker amplifier? I'm going from my Abit NF7-S integrated sound card to a JL 300.4 amplifier (yes i know it's a car amp, it's running off a 40amp ac-dc converter). I currently have the output from my computer going to the headunit and then to the amplifier which powers my speakers and sub, but it just occured to me that I could just go from my computer to the amp and just sell the head unit. Thanks in advance.
