Audigy 2 value issue...

OK first off I would like to say how crappy Creatives Driver support is for the Audigy 2 value series. If you go to there website and look up the driver you will not find it.... All it lists under the downloads driver section is a Digital Rights Management update. This is a gosh darn shame.

Not only that but in UT 2004 whenever i turn on EAX I get blue screens of death... I have reformatted twice and still get the same issue.... I tried both SP1 and SP2 windows XP... HTF is there no fix for this yet?

Anyway with those issues asside my main issue is as follows:

I heard there is a control panel of sorts for the audigy 2. IM hopeing the value series is included in this. This control panel is suppose to allow you to set speaker adjustments and use some special Stereo headphone mode for gaming and such. What is this package called and where can I download it from? Is it compatable with the audigy 2 value series?
 
I just bought one of these to hold me over for a bit. It came with all the needed drivers and assorted creative spyware on the disc.
 
Oh yea, and the spyware.... Or atleast the damn AOL icon install and such....

I have lost all faith in Creative. Is there any other company that offers a comparable card to the audigy 2?

As far as driver support, go to the soundblaster site and grab the latest betas that have full openal support. Unzip the archive and open up the drivers folder. You'll wanna run the setup from SBA2_BETADRV_US_2_05_0000\Drivers. Then run ctpanel.exe from SBA2_BETADRV_US_2_05_0000\Drivers\wdm\common to configure your settings.
 
Creative's apps are bloated and annoying, but calling them spyware is like putting a kid on suspension cause he had a butter-knife(deadly weapon! woo) in his backpack.
