i was running the program on my radeon 9800xt. im on stock cooling. and i aborted on 455mhz on the core, and it was still going up. Is this safe?!? That seems really high for stock cooling.

oops i meant to post in video cards, my bad, but its overclocking so its all good. any ideas with that core speed im at?

what are 2d profile and 3d profile, i just changed them both to OC, i wasnt sure what to do there?

so long as its not artifacting it should be fine, my core clocks to 450 on air and i'm using a softmodded 9800se so i think your fine.

2d profile is what the clocks are set to when doing 2d stuff, theres no point overclocking in this cuz you don't gain any performance so set this profile to stock.

3d profile is for games so you'll want to set it to an artifact free overclock.
