Do I need to install CCC if I'm installing atitool to overclock my x1900xtx? for those who have this card and using atitool, what version you guys use? thanks.

Happy New Year EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Currently using 0.25 beta 15. There are newer versions out. But I have no issues with the version i use so I see no point to upgrade. Not sure if you need CCC installed. I have it installed since I didn't know about atitool when I installed it.

You need CCC or Tray Tools if you want to change basic settings. I recommend using the CCC just because it has a tendency to be more reliable at making settings stick than Tray Tools.

so CCC and ATItool is OK to be installed at the same time?

Read w1zzards forum. Some versions of ati tool need ccc installed. Some don't.
I recommend finding the one that doesn't need CCC as there are 3rd party solutions.
CCC is bloatware. You don't want it installed it you don't need it. :D

I'm using .25 beta as well. I tried a newer version a few months ago but the OC sucked. lol
