Hi. I've been doing some google searching and haven't been pulling up many relevant answers to this question. Is it currently possible to run an nVidia card alongside an ATI/AMD one for physX? I've got a Radeon 5850 along with a spare GTS 450 that would be awesome for this sort've thing.
EDIT: 5850 not 4850. Have too many of those 4XXX series cards.

Windows XP and Windows 7 allows multiple graphics drivers, Vista will not install an AMD driver and an nVidia driver at the same time. However nVidia has crippled their drivers when they detect another vendor. There are some workarounds, but anytime nVidia updates the graphics driver or the physX software it will break again. nVidia was quiet about this unsupported configuration before Batman: Arkham Asylum came out, then they flat disabled it.

Never gonna happen on Vista (Vista is crap anyways) There is a PhysX Patch to enable (Windows 7 though) it just look for it, and follow the instructions, AFAIK it works fine, well at least it did last time I needed it.
