Would it be a good idea to simply rollback your drivers with system restore or will this leave files of some sort from the previous drivers?

Whelp, I have heard people say they did this when messing around trying a bunch of different drivers. If it was so convenient and trouble-free I guess everyone would be doing it though.

System Restore will return you to your previous driver version. It doesn't delete any files, so chances are your system will still have the newer files on it. However, the old drivers are the ones that will be used.

SR works fine because I had to use it last week when 8.9 fubar'd my box. There were a few files missing out of the CCC folder afterwards, but I have duplicate copies of all my drives through casper software so I just copied the missing files from the duplicate drive back to my main array after the SR and the CCC was fine after that. SR has saved my ass more times than I can count.
