ati display driver not installing?

i just got a x850 pro w/ 16 pipes unlocked. however, for some reason i can't seem to install the ati drivers. when i try installing, it just goes thru the program like usual and at the end it tells me i have to restart. then when i restart none of the extra ATI tabs in display properties -> settings -> advanced shows up. according to device manager, my driver version is 8.201.0.0. i tried JUST the display driver, also the one where its all 3 together. i even tried omega drivers. none of them seem to work. plz help me install my ati video driver!
 
you need to install CP which is not included in "just the driver"

If you have installed CP already (eg. omega driver) and tabs don't show up, install the same driver again. If reinstalling doesn't help, check if you have your chipset driver installed
