ATI 9800se with softmod problem

I have a ATI 9800se 128mb 128bit video card with 8 unlocked pipelines though softmoding.
But now when i play back a movie or tv theres a checkerboard type of dissruption on the videoplay back part of the screen, not on any other part.
I want to keep the extra 4 pipes but without the checkerboard.
 
You can't. The pipes are bad.

You should post and ask questions before you buy, I would have told you that 9800se's with 128bit memory hardly ever softmod. The problem is that the extra 256bits are very rarely ever good. However, if you have have a 9800se with 256bit memory at stock but with only 4 pipes, that will most likely softmod just the pipes.

I have a 9800se type2 (256bit at stock) and it softmodded with only a little square somewhere on the screen in games that's bad, it rocks hardcore though and I love it.
