I'm using an old school Built By ATI Radeon 8500 with 64MB of ram @ 275/275.

What is the nVidiot equivalent to this and how good is the 8500 still ?
 
def the GF3 series of cards....getting a little old. My GF3 is really starteing to suck at the new games ie Doom and HL2 are nearly unplayable at decent resolutions
 
Yeah the only games I play are Day of Defeat and Call of Duty and they work fine but I think my PC may be bottlenecking it (PIII @ 800MHz) I wouldn't even attempt HL2 or Doom 3 on it, that's just crazy.
