Very random while playing games I get a BSOD from atikmpag.sys. I use to get this when I had dual monitors. For example while playing World Of Warcraft while watching a movie on another screen. I found that just running World Of Warcraft with out ever running a movie on the screen solved this problem. I never would see a BSOD again.

Now I am currently running eyefinity which uses all 3 monitors completely while gaming. During a game of Torchlight I received a BSOD from atikmpag.sys.

From past research I have accepted that this was a problem with ATI's drivers. I am fed up these drivers. Anyone one with 5870 using eyefinity or anyone else having these problems?
 
only time I bsod on 5870 is due to overclocking past what I should be at. 11.4 release drivers are coming out very soon, maybe that might fix a thing or two fo your setup.
 
I hope so, I don't believe it is hardware problem because I seem to know why it happens from that World Of Warcraft example.
 
It might help to know your other system components. Warcraft is not as reliant upon video card power as it is on CPU and RAM.

If I had to guess, blindly based on no more information than you are providing, I would wager that you have a defective RAM stick, and you are getting a BSOD when your system reaches a point that the video driver is attempting to access that field of RAM. Try running a MemTest on your existing RAM array and make sure all your DRAM is solid.
 
Had an HIS 5870 that would BSOD and crash all the time. I had to downclock it for it to be stable in games.

It crash with in a few minutes of running unigine heaven. It wasn't til I shit canned it and got different 5870s that everything worked fine.

I thought it was a driver issue also, and it was actually a hardware issue.
