Athlon @ 3 gig ?

I was curious if anyone is running any type of athlon at 3gig? I am talking 3 Gig of AMD 32 bit power. I have seen people post 2.8 gig mobiles, and even some 1700s at that speed, but I have never seen anyone break the 3 gig mark. Can it be done, and has anyone seen someone post at that speed?

Wish I could do 3 with my current rig. I hate having locked multipliers. 2.76Ghz is all I can pull, but I have not really even messed with bios..just voltage and fsb. YES, 64 , but jsut saying :)
 
I imagine it's pretty possible. I mean I'm running a mobile @ 2700MHz with air cooling. It could prolly touch 3ghz with a prommie.
 
my 2600+M and abit AN7 hit 3 gig for with 2.3v and water cooling, but i was only stabel to the desktop of windows.....3d killed it...

@ 2.9 gig i was good for about 2 hours of vietnam.....2.8 gig was 100%...
@ 2.9 it felt faster than i have run

i still feel like i downgraded a bit...with my 3000+64
 
When I had my Barton at 2.7 A64's at 2.2. stomped my shit in 3DMark03. It is not a down grade, at all.
 
Sheesh, I've never even tried pushing my 2500+ over 2.2
Sounds like a good project :D
