Asus WL-520GU good choice for torrents of 2.0 MB/s+?

It seems it's time to let my trusty but ancient WRT54GS (Tomato Firmware)because it has problems downloading downloading torrent of 1.0 MB/S and plus.

My friend recommended me the Asus RT-16 but it's too expensive for my taste. So I'm looking at the WL-520GU with the TomatoUSB firmware. Can it handle bittorrents with no problem with QoS enabled? Is the 16 MB ram enough to run services such SNMPd?

Your linksys is too old of a generation. It can't handle more than 10mb/s through it's wan interface realistically. I have seen burst of 20 but that was all buffer and then stuck at 10mb/s.

Why not get this router. It works great for a friend of mine.

Unfortunately, TomatoUSB's support for the Asus RT-12B1 is still on the experimental stage. I could use DD-WRT but I like Tomato better.
