As you can see, I have this crap. I wanted to increase Vcore on GPU to 1.40V, but in Smart Doctor voltage is always 1.35V. Now I don't know, if it's something wrong with Smart Doctor or Asus has some flash lock on graphics.... I also have a problem with OCing, because I can OC only do 380/780 from stock 350/700.. :(
Do you recommend me to sell this card and buy another or to do something with it???

P.S.: Sorry for my English... :D

Because I thought I could reach good OC with it... :( And also because of I didn't have more money for real gf6800gt... Now I regret this...

heh, I asked them if I can replace this card with other, but they said to me, that I can't.... :( Now my problems got even worse... I ran 3dMark 2k5 and my score was 1001 3dMarks.. I think that this is because of drivers....

Is there any modded BIOS for my card? Or how can I unlock this flash lock? Asus is weird... :D

Mas pa ti probleme lol. Meni dela super. Mam isto, sj verjetno to ze ves. Jaz dobim samo 3300markov v 05, driverje pa mam 62.11 (slabe za benchmarke, dobre za igre). Jza sem jo navil na 394/922MHz, kar je dober OC mwahaha

If ne1 wants 2 know what I just said, then ask :D sorry 4 this, but the guy's from same country, which is damn rare 2 c.. didnt though i would see ne slo ppl here lol

You shouldn't return a product for not OCing as well as you thought it should. If there is nothing wrong with the card at stock speeds (unless some company guarantees it will overclock to a certain speed), then there is no reason to return it. Your only other option in the price range is a 6800 NU, and there are no guarantees that it would unlock to a full 16 pipes, which would result in it being worse than your 6800 GT.

I don't want to return iz because of bad OC, but because of strange problems. This card was already on repair, but they didn't find any problems. Fixed problems with 3dMark 05. Drivers were problem... :D
Probably I'll sell it and buy another one....

Because I want faster card.... :D I ran 3dMark05 and it makes problems again... I'm going to return it....
But it's strange, I reinstall drivers and ran 3dMark once and it was ok, but now it makes problems again.... What could be wrong? GPU isn't overheated, because Smart Doctor says it's 60 C on GPU...
Could be maybe wrong this that one pin on molex cable is broken??? (black) This is ground right? I think that this isn't problem....

cause of 128mb of vid ram duh and urs is just ddr1 if i remember...

I got the exact same card, and I can play Doom 3 at the highest settings, forgot about AA/AF, Far Cry at Very High settings, 4xAA/8xAF and HL2 at Highest settings, 4xAA/8xAF and in all games at 1024x768 with 60+ FPS.

Yes i know that, but still there are other problems... Half an hour ago, I got 1800 3dMarks in 3dMark05. That is too low for my card.... Before I got ~4000 3dMarks...

Well, you see?? Something is wrong with my card..

Yes something is really wrong with your card, we got almost exact system specs and I get ~3700 in 3dmark05.

No way that doom3 is unplayable, I run D3 in 1280X1024 high detail and never get FPS drops.

¨Same goes for me. 1280x1024, High Detail, 4xAA... return the card then d0h, it still has varanty.

PS: If your card is sucky in benchmarks, and works fine in games, then there is nothing wrong with GPU. Cos lot of ppl knock their heads out cos of bad marks in 3DMark.. idiots

PSS: Your GPU temperature is quite high, my is on idle 46C and in fullload 51C.

It sounds like you have screwed with the bios and might have made the problem worse. You shouldn't buy a card just to OC it. Buy the card you want that performs at the lvl you are comfortable with, then OC it. I made the mistake of buying a 5900XT for its OC value. I couldn't get more than 40Mhz on the core and 35mhz(70DDR) on the ram.

See if you can exchange it. Try to tell them the card was borked since you got it and just want a replacement one. I hope you can get it replaced.

hm...that's strange. I tried to play Doom 3 at high quality and 4x AA and it game runs very smoothly.... Now I'm very confused what could be wrong....
Could be maybe wrong this that one pin on molex cable is broken??? (black) This is ground right?

If one of the earth wires was broken, current wouldn't flow and the card wouldn't work at all... What settings did you use when you tryed to run Doom3 and you got 25fps.

I had that exact same card..nothing but problems for me. I got so pissed off I returned it and got a AI X800 Pro.....now no more problems
