I tested my new screen Asus PG278Q and is this bad screen bleeding ? there is some lights to see in every corner of the scren on a complete dark background.

is this normal for this screen ?
Do anyone have same "problems"

My VK278 does the same thing. Only does it when no signal is going to the screen. Once it has signal it looks fine.

Have yo tryed to make a black picture aquare and enlarge it to see, like i did

I have the same monitor and it does not look like that.

I made a black image in Photoshop and full-screened it. Looks fine.

Dammit im so unlucky...im gona contact asus and the place i bought it

Can you perhaps send me a picture of your screen in a dark room and light room with black bagground ?

OK, so I took some images, but they didn't show what I was expecting.

The thing is, in the dark looking at the screen by eye, it looks solid and totally fine. But the photograph seems to show some back-light bleeding. I never noticed anything when using the monitor, but I guess it does bleed a bit.

So i gues you also have that bleeding...asus wont RMA it for me so i will return it to the shop

But, it's only noticeable in a dark room with a black screen and in the photograph. In normal use it looks perfectly fine.

I'd also be careful replacing it. There were a bunch of quality issues (dead pixels, etc.) so you may get a worse unit.

Yes you are right..it can also go worse and it will be a hell to run back and fort to the post office..they will think im crazy or something...and its not that bad..the photo made it looks worse and i cant see it in games..only on the screen saver and if im using a black desktop picture.
Guess i can live with this..thx anyway for your advice and help

Btw Asus call it Ips glow and says they wont replace it cuz alot of these screen has this glow..some less others much..and the company i bought it at says i can use my 14 days return option but it will take up to 3 weeks to handle it and send me a new one....
