I heard that I PCI-E 2.0 is the way to go if you are upgrading Graphics Cards. I have an ASUS P5K-E, does this motherboard support PCI-E 2.0?

Actually, among Intel chipsets, the P35 (which the P5K series uses) is still PCI-E 1.1. The X38 chipset, found in the P5E series, supports PCI-E 2.0. PCI-E 2.0 cards are supposed to be backwards-compatible with PCI-E 1.1 slots; however, not all motherboard manufacturers comply fully with the official PCI-E specs (which results in some PCI-E 2.0 cards not behaving correctly on some of the older PCI-E slots).
