Asus/Intel EM64?

Afaik only the 925XE chipset supports EM64T, so this board won't support it then.

My 925x board supports the EM64T enabled P4 "F" processors and i've seen Shuttle i865 SFF boards that work with S478 P4 EE w/EM64T chips.

Dell also sells 600 series CPUs now in the same system I have (925x chipset), so it's definitely not only the 925xe that supports EM64T.

Anyways, Asus says that board is compatible with "04A and 04B" processors (page 1-9 http://www.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5GPL/e1972_p5gpl.pdf ). It's a dumb method of saying exactly which processors it supports, since "mainstream" now includes the 600 series. For example, intel says here: http://indigo.intel.com/compare_cpu/showchart.aspx?mmID=867285,861639&familyID=1 that the 915 chipset supports the 660 processor. It most likely does, but email Asus to be sure.

The Pentium 4 processor 5xx is supported by the Intel® 925X, Intel® 925XE, 915 Express chipset family, Intel® 875P and Intel® 865 Express chipset family. The Pentium 4 processor 6xx is supported by the, Intel® 925X, Intel® 925XE, and Intel® 915 Express chipset family. The Pentium 4 processor Extreme Edition 3.73 GHz is supported by the Intel® 925XE Express chipset.

I'm not sure how well that board OCs, so you might want to do a google search on reviews of this board. As far as 64bit capabilites all of the 9xx series chipsets support EM64T, and I believe that some there are some i865 motherboards that support it with a BIOS update, but I'm not absolutely sure about 64bit support on i865 boards.

The i915x, i925X, and i925XE chipsets all support EM64T technology or the "F" series processors.

So basically any LGA775 motherboard with the above chipsets is good to go.
