So I have a new project: to learn how to configure and run an Asterix box. I have a few things I want to try such as voicemail, menu systems, number extensions, etc etc. I was wondering if anyone can recommend an IAX provider. I need one that allows you to set your own CPN because caller id is something I want to eventually play with.

asterix and IAX providers

I use VoicePulse's "connect" service. They support both IAX2, and SIP, and are very Asterisk friendly.
I have used them for about 2 years, and have been very happy so far.

I believe it costs $11 a month for a phone number, and you get free incoming calls.
For outgoing calls its around 1/2 a cent a minute, and you can set your caller ID to whatever you want.

They don't seem to have any unlimited incoming/outgoing. Is there such a thing?
