AS2 vs AS5

I've still got a tube of AS2 laying around from when I bought my 2.4c about a year ago.

Is it worth it to buy a rube of AS5 and reapply it to my CPU? Will there be any temperature drops (even if just a few degrees)?
I'd also be using it on my 6800 GT once it gets here in the morning. I imagine AS5 on the 6800 GT gpu and ram would save me a few degrees there versus the stuff that's currently on it.
 
Since AS2, I'd say AS5 has gotten a bit better, worth enough to buy a tube. It's only like $5 and will drop your temps a couple degrees C over AS2 I bet.
