Artifact Tester not work?

Ok, So I was overclocking using artifact tester to make sure no arficating was occuring... Over time I got curious and ran 3dmark01 and halo and TONS of artifacting was happening yet Artifact tester kept saying No artifacting is happening.. Whats up with that!? BTW.. What is a typical core clock speed for OC RadeonXTs?
 
Artifact tester catches some and missed most. It's a rather poor program, but I guess it does what it's code tells it too eh? ;)
