What I want: Large monitor for my computer, bigger than 21in.

I've been debating on if I should use a lcd/tv for a monitor instead of a regular lcd. My problem is that the clarity of the lcd/tv won't be perfect as on a crt or lcd. Kreissen is the only company whose 26in was clear enough for me to even read the start button in windows. Everyone else's was just too blurry. But I'm wondering if I should sacrifice some inches of pleasure and about 100 bucks for the dell 2405fpw, but I have some questions:

1. Can anyone recommend me a 26in lcd/tv that has superb sharpness such as a crt?
2. Can I use the 2405 for the PS3 and still have good pictures?
3. How good of a video would I need to handle a 26in?
4. For the 2405, if I was ABLE to use it with the PS3, do i need to constantly switch from the PS3 to the computer or is everything automatic (just use the remote control to switch from TV to Monitor).

All i plan on doing is watching anime and AIM/Word/powerpoint/etc on my computer and games on the PS3.
