Are these FSB settings correct?

I have used AMD CPUs for so long that I cant figure out Intel CPUs anymore. They are correct... but I guess the better word for it is optimized for best performance.

On exhibit A we have my file server.

A P4 1.8. Is the ram really supposed to be at 100mhz? It sounds absurdly slow. The mobo supports DDR and SDRam so it has 512 of SD for financial reasons. Should that thing be higher?

On exhibit B we have my new media center. (I found this computer )

P4 2.66 only 256megs of ram but shouldnt the ram in there (PC 2700 be operating faster than 133? Sounds rather slow)

Both of these computers have craptacular motherboards, ECS and Syntax (wtf ) So these computers are more like Intel motherboards as they run well but dont have much in terms of fun stuff. If those speeds are off, I will hunt for ways to fix it.

Intel uses quad pumped buses...

meaning take those memory speeds and times them by four...your first mainboard is running at 400 FSB, and your second is running at 533 or 133x4.

400mhz and 533 mhz are 2 of the four standards on Intel side...there is also 800 Mhz and 1.06 Ghz FSB boards.

actually just look at the memory speed below that number and it will show you. The memory you are running is dual channel, so it will be running at 200 mhz and 266 mhz respectively.

Oh... what an odd system... So it doubles the ram speed, 4x the ram speed for the FSB.
