Just wondering....I've been using the same sata cables I got with my old Asus P4C800 Deluxe years ago. Have they changed the cables for Sata 3.0 or Sata 2, whatever it's called?

They are? They don't have a bandwidth restriction on older cables (only designed for 150MB/sec transfers or something)?

The cables are all made the same. The physical connectors and conductors are exactly the same. The only thing to worry about is getting a poorly made cable that introduces errors into the line, but I have yet to run across any since SATA came out.

Thanks!.......I just wanted to make sure I wasn't losing any performance.

they're all pretty much the same.. I used to think some were not shielded but the ones I didn't think were shielded I took apart and they actually are (just very thin 'ground' wires used).
