Hi everybody!
I'm opening this thread to talk about the Arctic P614 headset (there's also a Bluetooth+NFC model avaible, the P614BT).
I bought it about 10 days ago taking advantage of an Amazon deal: the current price is 30.99$ instead of 79.99$.
The P614 comes in a good looking package, with the "Carbon Free" logo and all the tech details on the back of the box (see the picture below). There are also some pictures of the product.
The bundle includes a 3.5mm jack adapter (in order to divide the two audio channel, L and R, in two separated 3.5mm jack) and a sleek black bag very useful to keep the P614 around as you can see in the following image. Not too much stuff, but two welcome extras.
The P614 drivers use Neodymium and they offer a clear and balanced sound.
Talking about the frequency responce I think it's quite flat and there aren't peaks in the spectrum and all frequencies are well reproduced without that some frequencies are more energy than others. For example some headphones I've tried (AKG, BOSE) have more louder bass with a loosing in the audio fidelity. The frequency range is wide enough (20Hz-20kHz) and with a good audio equalizer this P614 can fit very well every type of music. The insulation from external sound/noise is also well designed and the P614 have a good ergonomics and fits really comfortable (even after I saw a nearly three hours movie).
The design is pleasing and quite minimal if compared with other competing products, the build quality is good and there are Arctic logos on the audio jack and on the headphones.
Here is my video unboxing on YouTube (audio is in Italian but the video is international
