Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I am probably being overcautious, but, the aero's USB connector is a 5 pin and the MB connectors are 10 pin. I am assuming that I use one side of ten pin connector...right?
I have only seen 9 pin USB on a mother board. But you just plug one end of the 5 pin into the aquaero the other onto the motherboard. If your using an MSI board sometimes it will not work since the USB cable that comes with the aquaero has two grounds ( black wires ) AC knows about this but i just made a cable that runs off of the USB slot for outside peripherals ( back of motherboard ) then into the case to the aquaero.
Make sure you understand that the Aquaero USB header is ass backwards to the USB standard !!! Normally Pin 1 is hot and pins 4&5 are ground. This is backwards to the Aquaero as Pin 1&2 are ground and Pin 5 is HOT! If you read the directions it shows this but the outline drawing just shows Pin and Pin 5 with no mention of this problem. If you read the manual it goes into detail about this under USB connections.
