Anyone here virtualizing their applications with the streaming client?

I'm using PS4.5 with Streaming Client 1.2 and would love to bounce some thoughts of someone else who is familiar with the technology!

I'm actually talking about virtualizing the applications, not just the hardware. There may be more technologies out there, but MS AppV (softgrid) and Citrix Streaming Technology (rade) are the two that I'm familiar with. We're using Citrix Rade technology.

I've used Altiris's (Now owned by Symantec) Software Virtualization Solution, and I must say I'm pretty impressed by it.

Any tricks on troubleshooting problematic applications?

I'm not familiar with how that version works, but the Citrix solution creates the stream in a cab file. When the user launches it, it caches the contents of the cab file as necessary to the local machine. I've got an application that won't start unless that cache is there first.

I can extract the cab file manually, but that kind of defeats the purpose of streaming the app if I still have to "install" it.
