Apple Patches iPhone, iPod, QuickTime

Apple has released security updates for the iPhone, iPod Touch and QuickTime. The updates will be rolled out via the built in update mechanisms for both QuickTime and iTunes later this week. A serious flaw in the QuickTime discovered over the weekend has not been fixed yet.

The QuickTime 7.4 update fixes four critical flaws in the software that could be exploited by attackers to crash the media player or even run unauthorized software on a victim's computer. The update is available for both the Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

Yeah I don't have an iPod, so I don't know what updates are available for it. I just use the software.
