Does anyone think the new Apple Intel-based chips are going to use the Vanderpool technology: http://www.intel.com/technology/computing/vptech/

to possibly run both Windows & Apple OS at the same time, and be able to switch back & forth with out rebooting, etc..!?

Thats what I think made Apple really bite for "the switch" besides the new super lower power consumption of the next gen Pentium M.

The first Intel Macs are supposed to use the Yonah chips, so no VT.

:( oh, well.... it might be too early to do it anyway.

Since they might need a new "mother OS" that allows both ("daughter OS's") to run underneath it properly and allow switching back & forth. Almost how you can switch back & forth from users on WinXP (or other OS'd) and it shows you which apps are still running, etc.
