Hey guys. I just installed my APEX kit and i'm runnin about 34c on a 3200 A64. Is this normal? My load is only 38 though. Thanks for the replies.
 
It's probably somewhat normal but to be sure we'd need to know if it's a Winnie, Venice, etc.

I gather at those temps you aren't OC much if at all.
 
sounds about right, my dothan gets 26C idle 33C load for comparison sake and video card idles at 33C and 40 load, if you take into consideration that dothan consumes about 1/4th of the power of a venice... kinda makes sense that i get room temp :p
 
There's is no 100% normal temp when you strat comparing between different platformsor different manufactures for that matter. Every bios reports temps differently, some higher (AMD normally) and some lower (alot of Intels). As long as you saw an inprovment in YOUR temps when you installed the water cooling that's about all you can go by.
Your temps seem to be within the typical RANGE for any stock AMD A64 but that's about as far as anyone can say.
 
Id say thats typical as well. Your load temps look fine. Might also want to check and make sure that your pump is set to full output (theres a dial on the back for you to adjust ) and that your rad fans are wired for 12v ( they come with 5v wiring as well ).
 
My fans are at 12v and they're loud as shit. I'll put in some different Papst's and see how it works, but so far my system doesnt sound like a jet engine....which is excellent...I cant even hear the pump at full tilt. (where its at right now)
 
Well cool man, it sounds like your temps are good! Just out of curiosity , what were your temps before the apex?
 
i would suggest a quick clean and re-seat of your blocks to see if you can get a little more out of them, but other than that.......nothing abnormal about your temps.

about your fans, do you think that you might give them a chance to see how they do and 5 or 7 volts, before switching them out? even if they aren't super-premium, they are of at least "decent" quality.

Idle: 30C

Load : 43C after Prime95 for 6 hours.

do you have a bet going on how often you can post that in a month, or something?

those are fully acceptable temps, i just don't know why you are quoting them in threads where people aren't asking.
