Anyone happen to have a download for the Powerchute software for this UPS?

I swapped my new UPS (which has the software for it) with my old one as my priority was getting my Linux server to shut down and apcupsd would not work with the old one because it was serial and using a serial to usb converter was probably complicating things.

My workstation has a serial port so I will connect it that way.

Another thing, why is it that when I plug it in, it switches to battery mode. Will this stop once the software is setup? The APC site wants me to pay to download it. I can't see why I'd have to pay for it, not like I can use it without a UPS.
