Does anyone have one of these? I'm thinking about buying one right now and i'm just curious if it is a decent buy. I will probably want to purchase a new video card for it in the near future.. (nothing too huge.. 6800gt ish) and want to make sure i'm not going to have any size issues fitting the card in it physically.

also, how is it constructed? good quality?

Lol funny that you would post this. I just ordered myself one off Newegg like 2 minutes ago. They have a great deal going on with them. I needed a new test bed system. But it looks so good i wouldn't mind switching my main system over to it. Better grab one fast its a killer price on them. Probably won't last long. I just got done reading a bunch of reviews on the net about it. It seems decent for the money. Some people were preferring it the Shuttles.
 
haha, that's actually the main reason that I was thinking about getting one is because of the newegg deal. I just wanted to check with some people on here and make sure first. I'm probably going to be switching my main system over into it too.. and using it as a media center as well (just keeping my comp in the living room)

What about the AOpen XC Cube EX761. It's a socket 754 (which I have currently also). but how is the performance? anyone know?
 
I tried one of these systems and I was VERY dissapointed! The SATA performance was abysmal as in taking several minutes just to boot up! and it ran way too hot / overheated and would lock up frequently as the CPU cooler design and auto fan control is lacking. I sent it all back to newegg and took the hit on the restocking fee to be done with it!

Do yourself a favor and get a Shuttle SN21G5 or SN25P(excellent overclocker) if you want a great S-939 system or you could always build your own mATX system as there are many good mothereboards and cases available for mATX. Just stay clear of the Shuttle ST20G5 as it's built on the same ATI motherboard platform as the EZ482. (I had some issues with it as well)

to be honest, I'm not really looking for anything too powerful.. I just want something that can do some basic stuff, mostly want to use it for an htpc than anything. I don't want to spend 300$ for anything awesome. anyone have something for sale cheap? :)

I read on another forum about some people having the same problem as you did with the Aopen system. It was all do to a older version of the bios. They said they updated to the new version and it fixed all of their problems with the sata drives. I did hear it run a little warm, but what do you expect from everything crammed into such a tiny space? Oh well it didn't cost me that much money, so i will see what she is like when i get her.
